Ive just been searching through my extensive collection and pulled out the verve Urban Hymns, i'd forgotten how much i love this album, its fantastic, with some great singles, Sonnett, Lucky Man, Drugs dont work and Bitter Sweet Symphony. What does everyone else think to them?

yeah, saw him live at old trafford (cricket ground) when he was supporting oasis, he was cracking, did Verve songs as well as his own.

Nah, lucky man is pop. The best song is the rolling people, written about Frank Rolling apparantly. My favourite is Velvet Morning. You need to scratch beyong the surface lads.

I went to see the Verve in Wigan - a home coming gig. it was the most boring 2 hrs of my life. Never rated them very highly. Dull
