But 9 episodes in and it is coming into it's own, it's riveting stuff and rewards you staying with it.

This is fast becoming one of my all time favourite series after watching the stunning series 2 on the Beeb. But suddenly it has disappeared from the schedules - anyone have any idea why? Already having withdrawal symptoms.....

Series 2 wasn't quite so bad in that respect, since it was based more in the docks than with the street drug dealers

I found Series 2 real hard going. I am still one episode off the finish...just like I am with Mad Men and Band of Brothers

I normally avoid US crime dramas like the plague, but I'm just after getting hold of seasons 1 & 2 just to see what the fuss is about.
I've watched the first 4 so far and I have to say I'm quite impressed.
