Whats the answer to no 4?Question on Pointless tonight.
Brilliant to be part of the national folklore and that reminders such as this will carry on popping up randomly at least for a few years.

Whats the answer to no 4?
Ah of course it is, thanksAlex Ferguson?
They deserve to get relegated for the way they sacked Pulis. Most clubs would be looking to bring Pulis IN if they were struggling.
They deserve to get relegated for their dire performances on the pitch. They don’t deserve to get relegated for sacking Pulis any more than we did for sacking Ranieri. The record of Pulis at West Brom was abysmal. The fact that they made a mistake with his successor doesn’t change that.sour grapes..

I agree. Ultimately it all comes down to what you do on the pitch. The decision to appoint Pardew may be wrong (being generous there), but they were shocking yesterday and, if that’s indicative of what they’ve been like all season, they deserve to go down for that, irrespective of the managerial issues. They deserve to get relegated for their dire performances on the pitch. Tbh, I thought WBA had some good patches of play in the 1st half. If it had gone to 0-2 (as it very nearly did) we might have had a different game on our hands. Even at 1-1, they showed some promise. What was shocking (from their point of view) was how they completely gave up at 1-2. They folded, almost no other word for it.
To me, at times, they looked a far better side than Stoke for instance. They've just seemingly thrown in the towel, for whatever reason.
Except if he was the man in charge of unsteadying the ship. It's not always the right thing to do but most clubs usually pull the trigger. Sometimes it's the right thing to accept that you don't have enough quality in the squad and that the current manager may be the best one to mount a comeback if you do get relegated - like us under Pearson. Like I said I think they made a backwards call, Pulis has generally been pretty solid at this level and most clubs in trouble would be turning to him to steady the ship.
