It relates to the point I've been making about our tendency to eat time through pointless passing. This is the first time I've seen EM admitting to it.

It was interesting to see us avoid doing this on Tuesday in the first half and struggle to sustain our momentum in the second half.

It could be that the players are simply not physically able to do what I've been asking for. When EM talks about how much we still have to develop, he's highlighting our lack of energy.

Recent performances and quotes like this, have helped me to see that, as we evolve further, games may not be so difficult to enjoy.

There is a huge difference between playing high tempo football for 10 minutes and 90 minutes.

Watching 10 minutes is too dull (see most home games this season). Expecting 90 minutes is obviously unrealistic.

We got about 40 minutes of it the other night. All I'm saying is that was a very welcome adjustment.

Are we really feeling it though? Every time we've been within 7/8/9 points of a side, we've bounced back stronger. We're not the side of last year, if we show some bollocks and don't panic, there's no reason why we can't beat them. If we beat Leeds and Southampton, we're as good as promoted IMO.
