Now he is being asked to make a £29,000 bet at 7-2 to win £100,000.

Might have held on a touch longer...but yes. Would have made it hard to enjoy the football.

I sat on next table to him in a Vancouver hotel ( of all places) a few years back when he was player manager for Millwall - I think he was taking the 'yuff team' for summer matches - anyway - he made me laugh as he was talking loudly and bitterly complaining about a lack of discipline in the younger players!!!! He was getting quite upset
