Just when we thought everything was going great.

Leicester City flying high and are sitting top of the Premier League table, but will they be derailed by FFP regulations? - Telegraph

I think any club would have a fair argument against the old Football League rules, as they were very much more stringent than the Premier League/UEFA fair play rules in place at the time, which the Football League have now belatedly recognised by making their rules more in accordance with the PL/UEFA.

It was written by John Williams who supports Liverpool I believe. Maybe he's changed allegiance since we've become better than them.

Certainly remember him calling the demise of the MON team with a forensic precision. Now he's cheered up a bit, hope he's right here, too.

And some of them display some intelligence.

What we've done is something so simple you have to wonder why no one else did it first - we used stats not feelings to identify transfer targets, we only bought those with the right mindset not stars and then we gave them the best prep going.

We are fitter than any other team in the league, we are more united than any other team in the league - and we now have a top flight manager who knows his shit.

Football is about teams, money has corrupted that and make people think about individuals - the nonsense surrounding Mourinho a case in point. We are a team. Not just the players - the backroom staff, the fans, the managers. From front to back, we are Foxes. We are Foxes, the like of which I have never known.

And these Foxes Never Quit.

That's why we ****ing win.

I was talking to a work colleague about this the other day. We are "in the moment" - an extremely rare occurrence where lots of small things come together and make the whole thing special.

I can't articulate it satisfactorarily but the whole set up from the scouting, training, science, fans, manager, mentality, spirit, togetherness, never say die, longevity, owners, fans, media, other teams, imagination, dream and "Roy of the rovers" has all arrived together.

This happens once or twice in someone's lifetime - I am struggling to contain my excitement and emotions combined with the inevitable "when will it end?".

We can do this, we are fearless.

Roy of the Rovers be damned. We are all Billy the Fish at the moment...although some of us may be the large-breasted Native American (I'm looking at Homer here).

This bit is extraordinary!

Based on data provided by Opta and taking in “over 200 raw statistics”, the top eight players this season across the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 are listed as follows: 1. Neymar (Barcelona), 2. Mahrez (Leicester), 3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PSG), 4. Lionel Messi (Barcelona), 5. Douglas Costa (Bayern Munich), 6. Vardy (Leicester), 7. Luis Suárez (Barcelona), 8. Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich).

There was an article on the guardian site yesterday rating all the PL signings and Kante was the only signing they gave 10/10. Can't find it now though.
