We're ****ed

Although, I'm not convinced Sousa is entirely to blame.
Listening to Steve Howard after the match, I wouldn't be surprised if there is something else upsetting the players. What that 'something' might be, I don't ****ing know , but there sure is something.
I don't really care how shit Sousa may or may not be, no manager can turn players to dogshit overnight.
Whether it's the takeover or what the **** is going on, I don't know, but something is well and truly amiss at the Walkers

In my original post, I didn't mean "thick" in terms of a lack of intelligence, rather to imply a lack of common sense in acknowledging the obvious i.e. players need time to adjust to new systems (some more time than others).
:bang:
I guess the management and owners have some time frame in mind when things must get better - I guess that time is soon approaching.
Now that we are bottom of the league and Milan seems ready to go, a new leadership may want a new man in charge.

As for think football managers.....

Taylor was the worst, easily. Paolo is working on it though.

You obviously don't remember Frank McLintock, or Gordon Lee come to that. PS is trying hard to join them though.

Gordon Lee?? Not the most charismatic of managers but he did keep us up in 1991 when it looked like Pleat might be taking us down. I'm surprised you've got him on your list.

A little unfair perhaps but it was a case of desperate measures for desperate times.

I think that the McLintock situation is largely misunderstood.

McLintock came as manager against the background as being remembered as one of Leicester City's greatest post-war players. Believe me he was exceptional.

The expectations were enormous - and unrealistic.

He took over an ageing side and tried a number of quick fix buys to try to keep us in the top flight. It didn't work out but the position he inherited was ripe for a fall.

In contrast Peter Taylor inherited a relatively strong squad - and was permitted to make some crazy buys in terms of over the odds fees.

There are many different ways of being a shite football manager

Getting rid of Pleat may have lifted the crowd - and maybe the players, but our form didn't improve under Lee.

But he did not take us downwards and therefore does not fit into the set listed.
