Has anyone been to three matches in a day before?

I'm hoping to do it tomorrow, if everything goes to plan.

At 11AM:
Gillford Park v Whitehaven (Northern League div 2)

At 3PM
Spennymoor Town v Bishop Auckland (Northern League div 1)
or
Blyth Spartans v Droylsden (Blue Square North)

Then at 7:45PM Newcastle v Leicester.

Football matches are like buses, I haven't been to one for months, then thee come at once.

Three is the magic number for tomorrow.
If Jeff manages to attend all three matches, it'll cause the universe to reorder and we will win 4 nil.

Just don't go by Megabus

You shouldn't have said anything. I'm going to have trouble getting to sleep tonight now I know the future of the universe is in my hands, so I'll get up late and will miss the first match.

A day equals 24 hours - right?

25 March 05 - 15:00 - MK Dons v Swindon
25 March 05 - 19:45 - Rushden Diamonds v Lincoln City
26 March 05 - 12:15 - Boston Utd v Yeovil

then straight into the Supporters' Club at York Street to see England v N.Ireland on the big screen.

I assumed he meant a single calendar square.

No!

There are 24 hours in a day, but a 'day' runs from midnight to midnight or even dawn to dusk.

3pm March 25 to 3pm March 26 would last 24 hours or 2 days not 1 day. If it lasts or takes 1 day, it all happens on the same day.

From Chambers dictionary:

day noun (days)
1 a the period of 24 hours called the solar day during which the Earth rotates once on its axis with respect to the Sun;
b astron a sidereal day;
c any period of 24 hours, especially from midnight to midnight.

A few logical inconsistencies in there Mike

I give way to Chambers. Did Ashley really write a whole dictionary? No wonder he has not had time to improve his football!
