Tickets for Leicester Music Festival

I wasn't aware that this was happening, but apparently there's a Leicester Music Festival at the Tigers ground later this month.

Standing tickets are usually £45 (see here) but you can get them for £27 from here

The problem with stadium gigs like this is that you have to endure a lot of crap in between the decent stuff. Your definition of crap may differ from mine...

Capital FM have been giving away tickets to this for a couple of weeks.... cant say that anyone on the line up appeals.

Might even consider going to the Friday one, £27 isn't too bad. There are a few old songs by Aswad, Billy Ocean, Soul II Soul that I quite like.

The good stuff would be Aswad but only if they hold the gig in 1979.Possibly UB40 if they hold it in 1980/81 (any time before Red Red frigging Wine)

Actually that'd be great.If they did hold it in 79 I'd stay there & watch city win the league all over again & never miss a game as it'd be £1.30 to stand behind the goal.I'd also become a multi millionaire by betting on the winners of every competition in the UK & Europe that season plus the Grand National & the Derby in a massive acca & then using the winnings to buy shares
in computer companies,then later on re-invest in internet start-ups.By the time I get back to today Bill Gates will be working as my PA & I'll be the sole owner of LCFC & we'll be looking for our 3rd successive Champion's League title this season.

I can't wait.
