Been listening to Tim Booth's new album, 'Bone', this week and I have to say that I am very impressed.

The ex-James frontman has stormed back with a vengeance.

I would be interested to know if anyone caught his show at Glastonbury or is anyone planning to go to T in the Park or V 2004 where he is also playing.

For those interested his website is www.timbooth.co.uk

There are some downloads on the site I believe.

James were really good, until they went mainstream.

I really liked 'Come Home', and the last song I liked was 'Born of Frustration'.

This makes me laugh because James were at their most mainstream after the release of Gold Mother which featured Come Home and Sit Down.

Their mainstream pop phase ended with the song Born Of Frustration when pundits and public abandoned them in droves for their attempt at stadium pop, which was wrongly assumed to rip off Simple Minds - Don't you forget about me.

So, what you actually mean is you liked James when they were mainstream, buit didn't like them when they went a bit 'off the wall.

After all, Wah Wah could never be described as 'mainstream'
