If the gossip is right and Dion was causing problems then he needed to go. I think him leaving has had just as much effect on the teams upturn as CL leaving, I might even suggest CL would still have a job if it happened sooner.
TD needed to get the fans back on side, CL's sacking was part of that and with him out of the way an opportunity has arose that we could remove another factor of the fans annoyance which is CL's golden boy MDV. With both of those out of the way who do we have to moan at, the whole attitude around the place needed to change. Against Derby and Leeds Hume and Fyatt missed some good chances, but still get praise, if that had been MDV regardless of performance, he would have been booed and given stick.

I guess we need to give TD some credit for the successes of the last few weeks - recognising the issue was far more than a change of manager and helping to create a far more positive atmosphere around the whole club...

"Leicester fan" Dion actually went to the club the day before he signed for Celtic and said he hadn't managed to find a suitable club / contract and hence had nothing to go to with the transfer window about to close.

He then went on to say that if the club were to give him some form of pay off he would go quietly and continue to look for something else.

Needless to say TD and the board are not stupid and told him to fook off.

He then turns up the following day and confirms he has signed for Celtic.

The dishonest little toe-rag.

What a kunt.

I think that the removal of Levein, MDV and Dublin, has been a inspired move by the club, Levein was always going to be the legitimate target and no doubt most fans would have settled for his sacking alone, however it is now clearly obvious from the actions of the club that Dublin and MDV had been identified as surplus to requirements and as maybe " 2 bad apples " perhaps Tim had seen enough of Dublins continued attempts to undermine both full time managers he had played under, obviously TD had decided enough was enough and that it was going to happen a third time.

As for MDV, as he had obviously been a favourite of Levein, there could have been a genuine concern that he could cause problems for Levein's replacement.

Whatever the reasons, they were indeed 3 brave decisions and ones that have no doubt reunited and reignited the club, decisions that may well prove to be the saviour of Leicester City.

HE IS STILL OUR PLAYER! Only on loan to the end of the season. If he's shite over there, we'll get the bugger back in the summer.
