Well we're now in the relegation zone having lost to another shit team. Is anyone still supporting Levein?

Surely it's now time for him to go?

I said after the Reading game that I thought the Cardiff game would be Levein's last game. That's the next game now, and I think that prediction is looking more likely.. The Spurs game may have brought him a bit more time, but he doesn't deserve it.

I'm genuinely feeling we will go down now, we have to make a change. Can't sack the whole team, so getting rid of the manager is the easiest thing.

and who will replace him??

He wont resign.
+ can we afford to pay him off?? doubt it

naahh he's staying, would be suprised if he went.

I have supported CL but recently I have started to change my mind. but you are right, we are in the shite, but what will it achieve if we get rid of CL?
Promotion? No Chance
A better manager? I doubt it
More money? City would have to pay CL off so less money would be available
Better players? I doubt it we have as good as we can get for the money
Better Results? I cant see that.

Accept we are screwed and hope for a miracle because that is all that is left

****s sake.

must we have a stupid bastard thread like this every week. what if we'd have won????

you'd probably voting on a thread will we make the play offs.

I've got an idea. why not barrack them next time we are at home.....no doubt that will inspire them to win.

My first ever post -I believe Craig and the players can get us out of this.

To coin a phrase we must have faith & now more than ever get behind them next week against Cardiff

Welcome to the Madness BF:)

Let's wait until we are relegated and then get rid of him. :icon_roll

If you think we can't replace him now. Wait until we go down and then see who wants to manage us.

Get rid now and get Keegan in whilst he is shite in the premiership he is a Mourinho in the Championship

:icon_sad:
come on city SORT IT OUT!!!
AND FAST :icon_cry:
:thumbs_do
what has happened to our beloved city??????????

Hi buxfox!
just how buxom are you?

to all the guys who say he can keep us up what are you baseing this on other then faith?

how often has he won 2 games in a row?
how often have we had back to back league wins?
can we stay up without winning 2 games in a row or away for the rest of this season?

I voted 'no' as always. However I do think that if Levein doesn't win against Cardiff then he'll be sacked. The crowd reaction after that game, and the fact that we could then be more than a couple of points adrift would seal his fate.

th poll says it all really, it's neck and neck. the city fans are split in half.

dont forget the board are supposedly city fans too, i imagine they are in the same position. i think i'm right in thinking that they need to be in agreement if they decide to do anything.

Sorry but did I dream last Sunday's game when we outplayed a leading premiership team for the second half and more goals against them than any other premiership team has achieved? I wasn't at today's game, but from the stats we had 10 attempts at goal to their 3 and 6 corners to their 2. We're not hopeless. Absolutely right - bottom 3 is unacceptable but do the the CL OUT brigade honestly think this is our best chance of survival? Remember that when Micky Adams was booed out (that's the bloke who got us promoted when we were in administration, by the way) the saviours who arrived were Basset and Wilkinson. Is that the plan now - weren't we trying to build a young team for the future?

We need a talented, ambitious manager (we've actually got one if we don't panic) but if we go into the market for a new manager now do you really think we are in a position to command the best managerial talent in the UK?

Changing manager is like major surgery - if you do it often enough you'll kill the patient. You don't volunteer for a second amputation.

The way the fans can really help is to show a bit of backbone and support the manager and the team. Not necessarily because you like CL, but because when you're in a war you don't shoot at your own side.

.

In fact we have a manager who has achieved 5 league wins all season and is taking is on a nose dive journey.

Of course, we are not in a position to get the best manager in the country, but that doesn't mean we have to put up with a serious under-achiever.
As mentioned in an earlier post, the position will be much worse in terms of attracting a decent alternative if we relegated.

In the real world, decent managers do not fail for so long to get so little out of a squad that should be very viable in a crap division and then turn into winners.

Its well time that Levein was thanked for his services and politely asked to move on.....before we run out of games.

Will this happen? I don't think so. The board is paralysed and seems unable to di anything to safeguard the best interests of the club.

I don't see anything wrong in conducting such a pole. We are in serious shit and frankly i feel that this is now very much a relevant matter.
