I wouldn’t have blamed our owners for the appointment if last season ended after 35 games. But what annoys me is that we had those last three games which made it absolutely clear that he was out if his depth. Terrible appointment.
The owners take the blame in my eyes.
Blinded by a honeymoon period that was almost inevitable.
Has he ever managed a football team?

BBC still has us finishing 8th. Not sure whether to laugh or cry at that one.

I was thinking about this earlier, I reckon the media are all unaware of how ****ing awful we've been.
Or they know we'll pick up when the manager is sacked again.
Just demonstrates how far under the radar CS is making us.I listen to most of the football podcasts over the course of the week and it's incredible how many journos and 'experts' file us away as being guarenteed a good season and how Shakespeare is getting us going again.

Before the season started on the 'embarrassing predictor' thread I had us finishing 8th (on 56 points) - looks pretty optomistic now I must admit
I find the criticism of the owners harsh. Ranieri is our greatest ever manager but last season we were absolutely honking. We were dead men walking in his last few games. It is so sad it ended that way but the owners would have been negligent to stand by a watch.I would vote for someone now, but is there anyone out there that would get the players respect, has some tactical nouse, and who still has some respect for the owners after the disgraceful way they sacked Ranieri?
My criticism is not that Ranieri had to go. It was the disrespectful nature of the way he was dismissed.
The likes of Holloway, Megson and Allan were granted more dignity in their dismissal, and they had done **** all for the club.
The guy had achieved what the world thought was impossible. He deserved better than to be sacked in an airport lounge on the way back from a match.
