A United fan was telling me that they previously had a buy back clause on a player (I think it was Pogba) who they did try and buy back but the clause was useless as the club didn't want to sell him. So if we don't want to sell Lawrence it isn't United's decision. Simply if they match the highest bid then we can only negotiate further with them. Not an issue and a bad bit of dealing from United.
