Maybe the reason they started so well was because of the points deduction. It created a siege mentality at the club which motivated the players, and the pressure was off because no one expected them to challenge for a top two place.

I don't think its unreasonable of us to expect the best from our team? Yes they were very crap last season, very crap indeed. But some things have changed and many others in this division would envy the squad of players we have. I for one want and expect us to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. You may think differently and that's fine too.

I think we have the resources and are the size of club in this league to attract the better players that would be willing to play in this league. I think that NP has so far been competent in the way he's gone about his business and therefore I have no reason to question his competence. Until he proves his incompetence therefore I believe that we have as good a chance as anyone of winning this league.
