I will add that Daka was a ****ing disgrace when he came on. The point of him coming on was to try and stretch the game, get him running up front, get him holding onto the ball, getting him chasing players. Instead, he gave the ball away really easily, commited stupid fouls and looked every inch like a stand in for a competition winner.

If we get anyone willing to take us off our hands, even for free, then we should take it.

Nice to not have some gloom around the place.

I tell ya Shitpants today had the sort of performance you defo need in our predicament.

The effort today was very much what I’d hoped for this season. As BN said, be ****ing pests, shithousery, sprinkle some quality and away we go.

Could really do with a result next week cos Ipswich play the plonkers at the bottom

Had to look this up, it's not too clear whether Ferguson actually said it but it's been attributed to Roy Keane and the two most likely games were a 4-0 and 3-0 home win. RvN played in both.
That should be Roy Keane is the one who claims Ferguson said it. It was all he said to the Utd. team in his pre-match talk.

I thought it was a match where they were 3-0 down at half time. “Lads, it’s Spurs” and 5 unanswered.

Not according to the article I read. Apparently it was said before a game, not at half time. RvN played in the 5-3 game as well.

He did some excellent time wasting tho. Really enjoyed that

I saw the clip where they hit the bar from a free kick near the end. It skimned of Vardys head - had he not done that it could well have gone in off the bar. Inches make everything.

It's funny that. I have been thinking for weeks that whilst we haven't been great, we haven't had much fortune (particularly the Palace game). Look at Son's miscued cross

The three points, coming back from behind to win and holding out till the end, are all a much needed morale boost after recent performances.

Perhaps the most important aspect now is that we are, to use that cliché, back in charge of our own destiny. Even being one point ahead of the relegation places we “only” have to match the results of those below us to stay ahead, rather than hoping /praying other the teams slip up. There’s a long way to go, but hopefully we can push on.
