Toughest job?

The pipe is easily accessible and in plain view when you open the bonnet, hence why I saw the hole!



Is this a serious suggestion?


I was hoping if somebody could tell me if it was a simple job to do or complicated. I dont want to get half way through changing it and then realise I have fcuked everything up!

It was a serious suggestion foir a quick fix. If you want a permanent repair the best bet is to buy a new hose and take a look at it, generally it connects in 2-3 places with jubilee clips and it shouldn't be hard at all, if it turns out to be difficult you can always take the new pipe and car to a mechanic and have him fit it.

You could always buy the Haynes manual for your car (if you don't already have it) and look at how to do it. Then you should be able to work out whether you will manage it or not.

I do have one and it doesnt mention anything.
