To be honest I am/was more worried about Fryatt than Mattock, to get the reported 950k for what could potentially be a 20+ goal striker this season would have been poor, whereas 3m+ for Mattock would have been easier to swallow.

This day has been phenomenal thanks to Man City, it's almost like playing FM again!!

Spurs have confirmed that Berbatov has gone to Man Utd for £30.75m, with Frazier Campbell going to Spurs on loan.

"Meanwhile, Leicester striker Barry Hayles has turned down a six-month stay at Whaddon Road and will have his loan reviewed on a monthly basis."

How weird, didn't even know that was allowed...

I swear you can't just keep renewing a player's loan each month. Oh well, as long as he doesn't come back here for a while.

No luck shipping N'Gotty out then :( Hopefully release him soon.

What an exciting deadline day... shame Berbatov ended up at Man Utd though. Hopefully he'll break a leg in his first game. Or just be overall shit. And then have all his money stolen.

From the regs:
A short-term loan is for a period between 28 and 93 days, ...

A club is allowed to sign the same player on short-term loan more than once during a season.

Technically it wouldn't be renewing but a new loan deal each month and is allowable as long as each loan starts within the loan window.

Funny, in the Cheltenham programme Hayles says Cheltenham would be an option for him...

... and?

I presume that he feels that it might be an option for him to stay there but I don't blame him for deciding not to tie himself in for a longer period with undue haste.

Although I hope he realises his days here are over..

yes thanks and level 2 :icon_wink

i will be doing my UEFA 'B' in 2010 ,i need 2 years experience in the league with my 3 team's before doing the UEFA 'B'

I'd imagine a former professional playing at the top level who is now a manager having acheived league promotions culminating in managing in the second tier of the game might just scrape through then.
