Back to possible moves for Mattock...

Looks like Sunderland are getting George McCartney back after all, for the over-inflated, last minute price of £6m!

So it looks like that is Wolves and Sunderland out of the "race" for Mattock... but maybe West Ham will now step up?

How come loads and loads of transfer fees now are 'Undisclosed'? What's the purpose in this?

Answer: because the buying club insists on it as they're embarrassed about how much they've just dished out for a duffer.

I disagree; I think he is a very good left back, who has been under-rated for a while. Great signing for £5-6mil IMO.

Can you imagine, in the last 2 hours of the window, Man City spending £70m on Berbatov and Robinho? Jesus Christ...

Bet neither one happens though. Reckon its just like when they went for Ronaldinho... no chance of getting him, but its a signal of intent.

Live? He was there earlier in the day having a medical apparently... despite Utd even now not having agreed a fee with Spurs I think.

How can Manure get away with it? After all their complaints about Ronaldo/Madrid, they've done the same/worse with Berbatov...

Really hope Utd lose out here.

Not sure about him being the most overrated (that honour goes to Ibrahimovic in my opinion), but yeah, he's certainly up there.

Good player, but lacks a bit of end product, and very inconsistent.
Having said that, would like to see him in the Premiership, but I'm not sure how well he'd do over here. Think that type of flair player does well in Spain and not so good in England. Too lightweight, and no work rate.

TBH I couldn't care less what those twats in the premiership do. The more they insist on paying out silly money for players, the more they fcuk up the lower clubs.
