Well I'm going out for a pint or five! As I don't have a job to go to and I'm seriously ****ed off, I figured its a good way to spend the rest of the evening.

Perfect just perfect Steven!!!! Morris was reading your comment and began to laugh...consequently he punctured his lung and will be out for the rest of the season. What are we going to do now!

But incredibly you've all forgotten "Johnny X - the invisible striker", our secret secret weapon, ladies and gentlemen I give you Lee '2 starts' Morris.

lol, fine, including Morris (2 starts + 8 sub), then it's 80 appearances with 7 goals. If you throw in Tommy Wright (3 + 17) even though he's out on loan, then we get an amazing return of.... A combined 9 goals in 100 appearances from our 5 strikers! Whichever way you look at it, Hume aside, our strikeforce has a record of about 1 goal per every 10 games they play for Leicester. Cheery stuff!

Now if you don't mind me, I've off to find a big rock, a length of rope, and a bridge!

Never fear...the window of opportunity is still open....as of next week (thursday I think ) we will be able to sign players on loan for between 1 and 3 months, so if CL still feels we are short in any department then he can make a temporary move for players.

I wouldnt be surprised to see CL bring in one or two players in on 3 month loans, which would allow him time to assess them before making a permanent move, if they impress, in the January transfer window.

So for all the doom merchants, calm down, climb off the ledge and put the sharp instruments away, we are not stuck with this squad and we are not destined for league 1. Maybe CL is taking his time in selecting, assessing and ensuring the players he signs are right for the club prior to committing our clubs money, if that is the case then he should be commended, if only Peter Taylor had been a little more selective.

I didn't know that, anyone got any ideas on prospective loan targets? :102:

just trying to get everyone a little more optimistic.

to be honest i'm perfectly happy with the squad and don't see us getting relegated (or even close to), not in the "we're to big to go down sense" but in the "we've got a lot of quality" sense.;)
