I don't want to jynx us..... but with not long to go to the transfer deadline i cant see any players going out nor in the club.

With 7 out of 9 points it was a great turnaround, considering we lost the first two matches, RK and MS produced the goods lets hope we can continue this form until January and then to May.... come on you foxes!!!!!!

I'ts good to see we've heald on to all our players (so far)

Would've liked to see a Goalkeepeer or Central Midfielder come in though

What does everyone think of yesterday?

I will admit it is a relief that we haven't lost anyone, but at the same time I have to wonder whether the club is stagnating a little. We brought very few in over the summer months, and no one in since the beginning of the season despite the knowledge that our left side is weak and that perhaps another goalkeeping option was needed.

We really are broke, and with dwindling crowds it looks like we will struggle for a long while yet. If there really is interest in buying this club it should be given very serious consideration.

Everything is in place to be a successful premiership club, but without money we can only go one way:frown:

Yes, apart from a decent team and money to do anything about it

Exactly, but with money comes the decent team. Financially we probably should have better team than most in this league, but as we have seen it isn't always that simple.

Can't see us really pushing without the backing though. And if we are unsuccessful this year I fear that a lot of players (i.e. the likes of McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Stearman, Fryatt etc) will want to go to for their careers

The club is slowly decaying from the inside

Cor blimey, what brought that on! I don't like to be overly optomistic at the best of times, but looking forward we have the best bunch of youngsters I can remember. It may take a couple of years for some of them to come good, and there will definately be a largish proportion that don't make the grade, but for once we are going to have some quality home grown players in the team. The futures bright, the future looks like it'll be OKish.;)

sounds about right to me.

Regardless of finicial plight or not, its up to the players and staff to prove themselves and make a name for themselves. The division is full of average sides. Alright, we cant bring in anyone but now we have a settled squad and no losses, thats go for it.

You live in the land of clouds and cuckoos. Those players will be sold in the summer and are they really that good anyway. We need investment and quite a lot of it,a takeover is our only hope

Perhaps i'm just a miserable fecker but I fail to see how even the most optimistic fan can see our future as looking promising the way we are at the moment but i'd like to be proved wrong

All will be rosey in the Filbert Way garden when Milan arrives.

I reckon we have hung on to our players because they might be worth more when the next transfer window is open or even next season, not to build on

Too true! I think this thread should now be retitled " Abandon hope all ye who enter here ".;)

Like I said RS I hope I'm wrong, its my opinion and its probably worth nothing and i can only go by what relations say having not seen us play.My Dad and my brother went Burnley and said we 'were fecking awful':102:
