Although I'd guess he gets a lift back. Last season after every match on the way back to Freemen's Common, we'd see him leant up against a Citroen AX.

He does live in Quorn and generally walks to the match along the canal and gets a lift home.
I've given him a lift a couple of times when I 've seen him walking towards Derby for matches at PP. I sincerely don't think he is putting on an act - he is exactly how he seems to be.
