Surely the only reason to sack Allen within 24 hours of the Clarke situation would be to enable Milan to make permenant signings before the deadline.

good question...maybe he couldnt stand the sight of him any longer and so got rid but i dont see what difference another game wouldve made unless he has deals in the pipeline
