Re: Forest beat

Absolutely brilliant.

Their seemingly relentless drive winning game after game has come off the rails.

Losing one game doesn't equate to them coming of the rails. I regard Billy Davis as an excellent manager, he seems to know how to get the best out of what he's got. I think Forest can and will get promoted (hopefully through the playoffs so we can have at least 2nd). And although a die hard Leicester fan all my life I would welcome the thought of an East Midlands Premier League Clash next season.

I do always like a local derby game in a season's fixture list so wouldn't begrudge Forest getting promoted as long as we do too.

This Friday is a huge game in my opinion. Win and anything is possible, drop points and morale could dip.

If we win, which I think we have the quality to win comfortably, it will put massive pressure on all the teams above us as they play each other. More tension and a desire not to lose normally results in a few stalemates. Let's hope so :)

A win for us and the 4 above playing each other drawing would be a dream weekend's results.

We'll finish on 71 points with 6 wins, 5 draws and 4 defeats from our remaining matches.

You heard it here first. :icon_bigg

Nah! Goin to storm it, 85+ points!

I did the BBC predictor thing yesterday, and assumed we would keep up this good form until the end of the season, with no unexpected points dropped.

We were in second place on 83 points with one game left, ahead of Leeds on goal difference. We have Ipswich at home on the last day, Leeds go to QPR. Cardiff were two points behind.

I think that's unrealistic though. Leeds and Cardiff are bound to drop more points than I predicted, so we'll probably be up with a couple of games to spare. :icon_bigg

I think this is far more exciting than being in the play-offs virtually all season like last season, myself.

Last season we were always looking over our shoulder and when we had a bad patch people on here panicked and went overboard. Fan reaction at one game was often tiresome.

It's far more enjoyable looking upwards and storming the league towards the end of the season, then staying there and looking over your shoulder all season.

I yearn for the days when you talked about your pitch. How's the grass looking. Ours is shite. You wont like it.

Blackpool stormed the playoffs last minute and our team is better on paper!

Unfortunately they play on grass. I just hope that won't be their undoing like it was when they tried to play on snow.

I will say they bottled it if they start losing more games including at home, but a 1-0 defeat away shortly after playing qpr with 10men is probably a one off for them.
