hes very popular and they sell a feck load of stuff, with his name and image on and he takes %, he's got his own doll for feck sake

But the club still makes money from his merchandise!

It's better for the club to sell loads of merchandise and give a few percent to the player, than to sell a lot less but keep all the profit.

He has said he'd like to play for Everton - they're the club he supports. But he's said he'd be happy to stay at Swansea if Everton don't come in for him.

1.5 million is a hell of a lot for someone with no prem experience (then again Everton might be in the championship so it doesnt matter)
