well done guys, lets ensure the future of the club remains in the hands of the supporters

Your use of the word 'remains' suggests that you think the club is now in the hands of the supporters. Whatever gave you that idea?

2.5%, what sort of investment is that overall?
I think it's around £150,000 now.
So the whole club is valued at £6m.
to do a Glazer and get >75% I'd only need just over £4.5m?
watch this space....

... plus taking on any existing liabilities. ;-)

maybe the term remains was not the perfect choice, but you know what I mean. At least the fans have some say in what goes on and that is a good thing

13th is better than nothing....but what percentage does that mean?

I think it's just under 2.5%. That might not seem like a lot, but when the new company was set up it was done with the intention of having lots of small shareholders, rather than one or two controlling the club.

Just to expand on Webbo's post.

Under the rules the company were set up under (articles of association) no shareholder can hold greater than 9.8% of the shares.

The largest shareholders are Pukka Pies & Hammond Grange (both local companies whose owners are City fans)

The Trust's shareholding will be 2.5% approx however fans will be suprised to know thats a larger holding than either Jon Holmes or Gary Lineker have.
