Nixon's not batted that well and he was dropped early in his innings. Dalrymple started slowly but did well once he played himself in.

I mean, comparably they have done ok.

Monty looked like the only England bowler who was actually enjoying it. I like his attitude, he's like an excited kid when he takes a wicket.
Nixon did O.K and imo he's not going to have to do much more than that to book a world cup place. Makes me realize how important Alec Stewart was for us, and also Darren Gough.
 
The game was already lost when Nixon came to the crease, he could have thrown his wicket away and said he was chasing the game but he wanted to get some runs on the board and get some pride back instead, fair enough.

The game was probably lost in the field actually. Lewis dropped Ponting, a succession of missed run out chances. I think we could have reduced them to 180, it may have been a different story.
