I like Mattock, he's a decent player, but very over-rated. If we get something like £2m for him, I'd say sell sell sell.

Over rated? His career is just beginning.

These Premiership sides don't just want the finished article, they want players who they think may well turn in to the finished article. Clearly Mattock fits in to this category.
If he was the finished article at his age then we would be talking Gareth Bale-type money IMO.

That came from the Mail, but they state that we rate him at £5m. I cannot see us turning down £5!

If we can get a bid of £5m for Mattock then it is a no brainer IMO we have to sell him. That is just too good to turn down especially in the division we are in.

Yes we will have to replace him but assuming NP will get funds from it that could go towards a half decent keeper as well as a new LB. If the rumours are true with regards to the Dane then an international LB is not a bad replacement.

Edit: Anything over £3m would represent a good bit of business IMO.

Why would selling a player, whom several clubs value at £5m be a good piece of business when his career is yet to start?
