Home Vs Crystal Palace who are not very high up either - so chance for a win Alves (could have done with him on the bench on Saturday) a good performance could mean he might play next week against Bournemouth

Alves scored but it was only the equaliser in a 1-1 draw. However Palace has won their previous 3 so perhaps not such a bad result
 
Playing Palace again now and it's Half time and City losing 2-0
This is in the League Cup though the abandoned game last week was deemed to be the final score 1-1
No Marcal though or Maswanhise or Alves of course, as he's injured so not a lot of creativity on our side. Silko Thomas is playing though
