Upperton Rd Closed on Saturday

Can I walk from Narborough Rd along Upperton Road or along the Fosse Walk

If you normally walk down Upperton Road to the Walkers (like I normally do), then the quickest way round would be to walk down to the Western Pub on Western Road/Wilberforce Road, and cut through Bede Park, bringing you out at the Quay pub on Western Boulevard.

I went by this junction today coming out of town at about 2.00pm; the traffic queuing into town was back to almost the Roxy (KFC) traffic lights.
They have the road coned off and down to 1 lane near to Upperton road but before this there were 2 lanes of traffic attempting to get into 1. Anyone coming in that way tomorrow would probably be best to turn off and go down Fosse Road

The quickest way would be to swim across the canal. Although that doesn't take in MHS's pub tour, so it wouldn't be as much fun.
