..... is the character notable for his cloying humility, obsequiousness, and general insincerity. His constant references to David as "Master Copperfield" are repeated so often by Dickens that they quickly seem insincere. ;)

On the other hand Uriah Rennie is a sub-optimal referee that now is in the Fizzy as punishment. :icon_roll :icon_conf :icon_conf :icon_evil   :098:

is anyone surprised?the man has always been a joke, his antics ar spurs v everton lastt week show that. couldn't argue with their pen,but other than that the worst i've seen in a while

Was it just me or did anyone else think McAuley was climbing all over the defnder when he headed the ball towards the goal as it took ages to float in?

Of course I'm not surprised Rennie missed that.......he missed a lot of other stuff as well(apart from Horsefield's elbow where he only spoke to him.........)

what p's me off is that, that ars*hole w@nker Mowbary ran on the pitch like he was the victim. I thought Rennie was a c*nt he shouldnt referee, im not racist but i actually think the only reason he is a ref is because of the colour of his skin. He is a joke and shouldnt ref ever again

He was his usual self ensuring the game became the 'Rennie Show'.

However, on balance, we didn't get the worst of the bad decisions.

 3 penalty appeals waved away :102:

None of our shouts for pens were strong - we'd have been gutted if any of them were given against us.

Horsefield should have gone for a clear elbow in McShanes face. He also fouled their centre halfs loads and didn't get booked. Our goal could have been disallowed for climbing. McAuley was fouling all game. Hughes escaped a clear booking.

According to the West Brom fans on TFF it was Clement he elbowed:icon_eek:

Anyhoo Rennie in his wisdom only spoke to him so I don't think anything else will be done...He's lucky. Saying that though, and not condoning what he did, but anytime he went near a defender they tried to climb inside his shirt so it wouldn't surprise if he allowed his frustration at that to make him react.

He was 'fast tracked' to the job because of his race.

He's not fit to ref, his decision making is bad, he affects the pace of the game and he cant run. He did however deal with the Horsfield situation well.

He did appear to be a pretty awful ref... and what was with the injury time at the end of the game??? 4th official didn't appear until a couple of minutes in and then Rennie appeared to play longer than the 3 mins given then....

The funniest bit was when a WBA player just jumped in the air at Johnson and he gave WBA a free-kick :icon_lol:
