It's caused by a bug in XP.
It works if you type any combination of words into a new .txt file that are 4, 3, 3 & 5 characters long and save it in Notepad and then reopen the file again.

They are defo called "Easter Eggs" in the gaming world.

In Gears of War for example if you throw a smoke grenade threw a certain window you will see the silhoutte of a geezer taking a shit on the toilet.

In the normal course of the game you would never throw that grenade through that window, so therefore you have to hunt for it or find it by accident.

From what I've read, it's a bug to do with the way it's encoded that has been resolved in Vista

If you land your helicopter at the very feet of the Statue Of Liberty and go round to the back, there is what appears to be a black door, although it doesn't open you can go through it and there is a massive ladder you can climb. Once at the top their is a giant beating heart.
Thought it was very weird when I found that.
