V+ Box

I've got the TV-L package from Virgin media.
A friend has got a spare V+ box and has said I can have it.
Will it work if I plug my cable into the V+ or is there some sort of different installation I need?

If it's anything like sky you need a second feed going into the box for the recording facilities to work.

Yes, you need to connect it to your laptop via your xbox360 and then plug it in to your tv. Easy...

Have you ever thought of popping along to cableforum.co.uk and asking whether they prefer McGivern to Berner at left-back? Do you think you would get a decent reply?
