a) It was a friendly, the players would have been under instruction not to over do it.
b) We were playing La Liga opposition and managed to beat them (okay they put no effort in at all in but still.....)
c) The defence and the midfield looked very tidy and well balanced.

a) I don't care if it was a friendly, there is no such thing as Morrison and Brown showed, it is a football match and I want to win.
b)I don't care that they were in la liga they were a shite team who would get hammered in the prem.

Anyway, you are a drama queen. And you didn't say you were "a bit worried". You said "to say I'm worried is an understatement" implying that there's impending doom based on the performance of a pre-season friendly against a top flight team from Spain. Despite what you say about them, they aren't mugs and wouldn't get hammered in England's top division. You may not care whether it's a friendly or not but the fact is that it is actually only a friendly match. It's an unescapable fact which you don't seem to be able to understand that it's not going to be a full-on performance compared to next week against Swansea.

There'll be reason to worry if we're bottom of the table after six games. Until then, think before you speak (or in this case, type).

Wellens looked good. Gradel added a bit of magic on the right wing when he came on.

Oakley managed to get two corners past the first defender.

Fryatt didn't look in it until he got the goal, and looked well offside for it as well!
