Holy **** flaps

We need a striker on loan or summat

Not a surprise. He hasn't looked quite right. Perez will come in and do a job.

It might not be a complete disaster. He hasn't looked himself and has struggled for goals for a few weeks now. Even his finishing has been notably off.

Rather than have him on current form we may even benefit from a change up front for a little bit and could really grow the team spirit and confidence if it's successful. It will help enormously if Nacho can have some success against Brentford for a start and get his confidence back, though I expect Perez is the #1 option.

Further if we get into the business end of the season with a fully fit and firing Vardy, that will be a huge boost.

If he's out 3 weeks:

Everton (A)
Leeds (H)
Fulham (A)
Wolves (A)

Possibly FA Cup 5th round too

Suspect the target will be Liverpool/Prague week. The greater fear will be if this injury has long term issues for him.

Edourd in the middle of some drama at Celtic at the moment too.

Missing games, mysterious injuries, looks off-form, refusing to sign a new deal.

Yeah he sounds like the kind of character we need....

Tricky one this. Straight swap and keep most parts going as they are at the moment. OR
get more pace down the flanks to offset Vardy loss and risk upsetting the balance of the side.
Should test out shape he wants v Brentford
If its a system that gets Ricardo or Under in for pace down both flanks pivoting off Perez then I wouldn't be surprised but would be harsh on Albrighton.

Hope we manage to win one of the early games without him, otherwise the “one man team” stereotypes will start again.

Didnt he have a hernia/groin operation mid season the year we won the league...?

Just saying...

We need a new striker or at least another attacking player right now. It might be a hard time financially but european qualification is at stake. Time to pull your ****ing finger out Leicester.
