Very slow

I have noticed this evening (21st Oct) that the Leicester City forum, thread or whatever name it goes under, takes anything up to 15 times longer to come up in my browser than any of the other forum, thread or whatever name comes up in my browser.

Any reason why this should be slower?

I was unable to find any reason why the LCFC part of the forum should be any different to the rest of it. The only difference is on the LCFC index page, where it brings up the news headlines - but that doesn't affect individual threads.

I had no complaints from anyone else so I can only assume Steven's PC is haunted by the ghost of Brian Clough.

Have you changed the way these pages are loaded Webbie?

I only ask because the I believe the reason it is intermittently slow is because of the Newsnow headlines. Today the pages are loading very fast (unlike the previous four or five days) as they should and I wonder whether the headlines are now not loaded every time ?

Nothing has changed.

The forum was slow (and down completely for a few minutes) last night, which was a server problem, but I've not been aware of any other problems in the last few days - I've not noticed any slowness when I've been using the forum.
