Juan Pablo Angel inspired Villa to a deserved quarter-final victory in an entertaining Carling Cup clash.

The Colombian's blistering 25-yard strike put the hosts in front (16) but Joe Cole turned home the leveller from Hernan Crespo's left-wing cross (69).

But Gavin McCann condemned Chelsea to another defeat with a close-range finish after Neil Sullivan had saved again from the outstanding Angel (78).

It seems to me that Villa think they're 'too big' to go down this season. They need to wake up! that wonder goal aginst us in the cup was good, but considering we were playing a reserve side they hardly played us off the field!

I hate David O'Dreary I don't rate him as a manager at all. Does he think a cup run is more imprortant than wining premiership games?

What do u recon can they win the cup?

villa on paper arent as good as anyone in the prem except us and wolves and when u add crap team spirit and crap support to that it makes villa going down look like a fair bet
