awfull effort from the city fans then. slightly ashamed if the above is true. i have a couple of mates from uni going. atleast i know they wont be taking up a real city fans seat. then again im wondering how many real city fans there are after witnessing the most dire atmosphere in the grounds history on sat.

dissapointed indeed

I didn't think the atmosphere was that bad on Saturday, quite good in fact. At least in block F2 of the Kop.

I too thought it was quite a lot better than it has been. From half way down the west stand (not my usual haunt) there was a lot of noise coming from the kop end. And block L was making as much noise as the away supporters on occasion

it always is poor TBH

I know but i hoped with the return of Taylor we might get at least some atmosphere. I Cant believe that we are struggling to sell tickets for the Villa game. Some City fans need to have words with themselves! :icon_evil

i was in F2 and that was mainly what i made my original judgement on. i thought it was awfull and depressing with hardly anyone getting behind the team.

someone sang can you hear the palace sing and the louder reply in f2 was can you hear the leicester sing.

hopefully what the OS is saying is true and that many tickets have been sold with us selling a few more thousand today and tomorow.

I'm in block K, and I thought the atmosphere was pretty good at the game.

:102: strange how conflicting stories are emerging about level of sales for this one

Hardly surpirsing, really, given previous experience. I'm surprised they can even make a guess

I still haven't received my feckin' ticket from the goons (booked on-line, and money taken on 7th October), which means I now have to get them to print a duplicate and I have to queue up with all the peasants some time today to pick the fecker up

Yeah that was me!

There were periods when we were quiet but there were also prolonged periods of noise. You just have to accept we aren't going to make noise for 90 minutes and the atmos isn't as good as Filbo which even during classic encounters like the Fulham Worthington Cup match wasn't bouncing for 90 minutes.
