There was a period in the second half where King, Ramsey, and Bellamy really looked like they were going places.

Personally, I felt that Ramsey was way way way out of his depth.

I really do hate international weekends. It not only stops Leicester playing, but stops all the good matches on the tv over the weekend. Especially this international weekend was that there were no even great match-ups for ESPN to show.

While I do quite like this current Belgian side and some of the young players they have coming through like Lukaku and Hazard are some of the brightest young talent around, Belgium vs Austria is never going to whet the appetite like Spain vs Italy or the usual Bundesliga/Serie A matches they have on, especially at this stage in the season.

Don't get me wrong, I love the WC/Euros finals, but qualifiers really are so mundane and they nearly always make for dour games, because no one looks like they could ever be arsed. They never come across as any more competitive or enjoyable than friendly matches.

But yes, was a thoroughly boring Saturday afternoon, looking forward to having football back next weekend.

I went Bradfud v Shrewsbury, seen a Welshmen score and got in for half-price thanks to some nice local. All in the Football League's 3pm kick-off. Plenty of non-league on today too locally with Coalville winning their FA Vase semi 3-0, Hinckley win 4-0 and Barwell winning 1-0 away at Belper keeping them on course for promotion (might go Tuesday night against Kidsgrove, 1st v 2nd)

Anyway on a slightly different note, I suggest you look out The Blizzard, it's a new magazine edited by Jonathan Wilson. Issue Zero is available to download, on a pay what you want basis. Got it last night and read a couple of articles, simply brilliant football journalism.

I already downloaded the Blizzard a couple of weeks ago. It's great, but I can't wait for the proper issues to be in physical formats, I hate reading books on the computer. Will probably end up subscribing.
