I don't that Dickov brings anything to the team at the moment. I think that someone younger and a bit more eager would be better. This sort of game is perfect for a youngster. No pressure on them at all.

As I said though, when picking his squad, Pearson doesn't know the game is going to be this easy... he has to pick the team and subs that he thinks will serve us best, and with subs that's usually who with subs, who can change the game by coming on?

I agree that Chambers would be a better option, but Pearson seems to disagree. He can't whack Chambers on the bench *in case* we get to 4-0, because it's more important to have players to bring on when its 1-1

i think that a team with ages like 23, 19, 21, 19, 18, 26, 21, 31, 19, 22, 31 has already got "bringing youth through" already pretty covered off!! wouldn't say that it goes with experience too much.

having said that king etc will be nigh on 50 games further down the line in terms of experience by the end of the season...
