When Fergie was at Aberdeen he won the Scottish league three times, Scottish cup four times, and the European Cup Winners Cup. So I'm sure he'd have been relatively successful wherever he went.

Don't doubt that - but "relatively" is the word. Aberdeen were a force in Scottish football at that time and Fergie is undoubtedly a fine manager - knows the game and doesn't stand being messed about.

I've always wondered tho' if a Ferguson or Wenger would be able to produce dramatic changes at a struggling club. MON sort of did that at Leicester - although I fancy his best days are over now in football management.
