As well as me finding it amusing, it encourages the poster to say what they mean and, if it is a point relaying upon facts and accuracy, that it is debated using proper English.

Just look at the total eShit that is the majority of posts on another LCFC forum, most of them are utter gibberish.

I fully agree with you that the zero tollerance to txt spk and encouraging people to post in coherent sentences is a good thing and the only other forum that I regularly use is exactly the same but it's fairly obvious to tell the difference between a typo and someone who cannot construct a legible sentence.

It can be funny at times but I think everyone has got the jist of my opinion on this now so may not need to repeat it anymore!!

We needed a strong manager to come in and bring stability after Martin Allen. The last thing we needed was a manager to leave after a month. Martin Allen and Ian Holloway should both take some blame for that season but the Gary Megson episode was I felt psychologically damaging to the club.

To be fair to Megson the fans made it clear he was unwanted - the phrase I remember is "underwhelming". When we were playing badly the fans began chanting to Taggart "Gerry Gerry short it out" - clearly they were by-passing the manager.
Gary Megson was wise to go. He should never have been appointed in the first place.
