Fuchs has an extra gear in him that can make him an excellent player. We rarely see it nowadays though. Without it though, he's still one of the top three left backs in the league outside the big six.

Chilwell is capable of being an excellent left back too. He's not just yet but at least he's now getting the playing time that will help him to evolve his game. He's likely to end up one of the top six left backs in the league within the next year or so.

Overall, I think left back is the least of our concerns in the team. Just let them get on with it.

At the moment "the big six" aren't blessed overall with a great deal of talent in the left back position. Both Manchester clubs are playing with midfielders there, Rose is out of form for Tottenham and whoever has stood in for him hasn't been too impressive, it is a position that Liverpool can't seem to get right. That leaves Chelsea and Arsenal, the former have a fairly decent player in Marcus Alonso but I put Fuchs above Monreal.

If you read the Watford forums they think we will thump them and some are ready to get rid of Silva. This is a real surprise to me as I thought they were a decent side with some excellent players.

Ive just had a look blimey they are a pessimistic bunch.
