The important term is 'with a view to a permanent deal', and which ones will or will not turn out be permanent deals we shall see in time.

Its more about saving money this season,IMO thats why we have had loan's more than singing players.

Next season we will continue with the loan system, so as not to get lumbered with players on big contracts who couldn't give a flying fcuk about anything but their pay day. If the loans are no good they go back and we pick another. I know they have a list of players already to look at for loaning next season

I have no problem with having loan players so long as they want to play. My concern is what happens when they all go back. Derby got promoted with a lot of loan players in the side and we all know what happened next.

Getting loanees & loaning out players is going to be major part of LCFC's strategy for as far as the eye can see. It is driven by limited money and convenience so we might as well get used to it.

The important thing is that NP gets it right more times than wrong.

We are a reasonably attractive recipient for loanees at the moment because we have a winning team and other managers will be happier for players to join up with us a develop their confidence. I also think that NP has a decent reputation and other managers are ok about sending their players to him.

Assuming we get promoted as i believe we will, then next season will be a different script entirely. The way we are cutting through this division like a knife through butter suggests to me that the gulf between the fizzy league and the third division is not much less wide than that between the top two tiers.

Wayne Brown wants a long term deal and reading between the lines, the Mercury think he'll get one. Seeing as he's apparently got the arse with Hull for dropping him to third choice centre back, I'm not sure why he'd want to stay - he's barely figured so far.
