Ive just bought a dozen Microsoft vx5000's seem excellent. Includes a built in mic which is useful. take literally 10 seconds to setup.

If you get one my advice is to not even take the CD out of the packet, installs loads of crap and takes ages. Just plug it in and away you go.

Ive been using a Microsoft Vx2000 for the last couple of days as I am recoding a voiceover and I have to say they are crap by comparison to the 3000. 2000 uses the mic socket not USB, makes all the difference I think.
