But he charged a grand and got paid a grand !. what difference does it make if other people take photos or want to copy the cd?
I have since found out the problem is not printing the pictures but that the Cd will cease to work after Dec 1st? Is this feasible ? and can i do anything about it?

Yes, you need to get the photos off the CD

I think you need to award yourself one of your own specious reasoning yellow cards DV.
He has a living to earn, so he isn't likely to take pictures without protecting his investment and earning money from them.
Where is the problem with that logic?

the problem is, it's a twattish thing to do, he's paid to take photos not set himself up as copyright master and make the bride & groom come back every time aunty vera wants a blow up of the happy couple

yes he's legally allowed to do it and he's trying to earn more money...so what, it's a twat's way of doing it IMHO

Quite a lot work that way. One we talked to said we could have thumbnails to decide on our pics, then he would print off X amount, if we managed to sell another X amount to family and friends we could have the CD of images for future use.

Seems fair to me, really can't see the problem? However we found one who will give us the CD for free for about the same cost, so works out well.

But they are contained within a programme called showpage which displays them in a slideshow type way.

Run the slideshow then use MWSnap, or something similar, to save the images locally
