How about an experiment then-run both leagues in parallel and see if they tally up with each other. Can't be much more work to do that right boc?

You don't need an experiment to see whether they would tally up. The total points scored are published every week and they wouldn't tally up any more than they would in the Premier League, the Championship or any other league - that's the thing about head-to-head competitions.

You made this same suggestion near the end of a previous season. I recall offering a solution then. Please feel free to take me up on it.

Ok. Yes please.

May I suggest that the league be based entirely on points scored? That may it is fairer and the no shows aren't a factor. Don't get me wrong, boc does a grand job but it's not fair if someone wins by default and someone loses despite scoring more points than the person who played a no show.

Maybe you should suggest your ridiculous idea to the FA as well. We should definitely have got more points than Coventry yesterday...

Christ, I know how beleaguered FIFA feels now.

Feel free to look at the points scored, Jeff would still be top and I'd be third instead of the second place I am currently so it wouldn't make that much difference :102: (apart from for Spion)

Another idea Boc, could we have an extra column in the league table that tells us how many matches a team has played where the opponents didn't show up? That would be very helpful.

No.

It'd be far better if teams that didn't show up were docked three points.

I did consider this but felt it would militate against such teams taking part in future weeks.
