Looks like he was asking who was going to the match, you wouldn't have been able to see that on the OS. And if he'd said who's going to Watford some pedant would have told him Watord reserves don't play in Watford :icon_bigg
I know that webmiester, It was typed tongue in cheek, not that it is always easy to purvey that on a forum I know, and it was to diffuse the picking on poor old l'boro. And as someone else said it shut him up for a bit, even though I dont think he has been online since.

Whereas you could start a thread called whose going borehamwood clearly leading us to think someone is going to prison and then telling us about the leics res against watford ressies, which we will be informed of on the official site which im sure most of us view everyday.:102:

Prison? Borehamwood? What?

Cookham Wood, Channings Wood, Woodhill and even Wormwood Scrubs - but not Borehamwood!

If Stephen Hunt leaves Reading this summer and joins us then remember that you heard it here first................................:045: ;)

Who? Why? Where?

Steve Hunt's season:

37 appearances - but in 34 of them he came on as sub.

Only played two complete matches.

Only played more than 20 minutes on 10 occasions.

Played a total of 751 minutes - the equivalent of just over 8 matches - an average of just over 20 minutes per game.

Was brought on in the last 10 minutes (to waste a little time?) in 13 games.

Remind me again why we need him on the payroll.

To waste a little time when hume and fyatt have scored two each and we running away with the game?:102:

If we intend selling the likes of Kisnorbo, Fryatt and Stearman and replace them with the likes of Hunt, Welsh and Brevett it will be a very long season.

I dont think we will be selling all 3, I would imagine 1 would be sold maximum, and looking at the recent speculation, that is likely to be Kisnorbo, is Hunt a centre midfielder or does he play out wide ?

Hunt could be a decent signing, if it happens, my concern would be Welsh, who on the evidence of his loan spell, has done nothing to convince me he will solve our problems out wide.

Worse, Kelly keeps referring to what Welsh used to do as the reason why he wants him, not on what he has done at City. MA used to buy players on their former reputation. :icon_roll

I am not going to criticise RK, at the end of the day what he has achieved this season has been fantastic, but how he plays the transfer market this summer will determine whether we are capable of sustaining a play off challenge or mid table mediocrity. He has to be able to pull a couple of inspired signings out of the bag.

Next season will be key IMO with players such as McCarthy, Stearman, Weso (If he can sustain his fitness), Hume and Fryatt, all likely to attract serious interest from bigger clubs, and that is why the season will be key to being able to prove to these players that they can achieve their premiership ambitions with us, if by xmas we are languishing in the lower half or mid table, I can foresee a mass exodus and another big rebuilding job.

To be fair, Steven, there's a big difference between what a 22 year old was doing 18 months ago in Welsh's case, and what a 37 year old was doing ten or fifteen years ago in the great MA tradition.

Only 37, doing Micky and his blue rinse brigrade a massive diservice :icon_bigg

I imagine MA will be after Sherringham in the summer.... with all those sprightly thirty-somethings, he'll be wanting an "older head" that has "experience"...

rumour is that millwall are after him as player manager, but i am sure if mental MA can get there first we'll see the old dog again next season
