lol, anyway i think DJ will get us goals and while he wont be spectacular im sure he'll do a job.
What I really love are the hilarious name variations people always use for Ade Akinbiyi
Bad Buy, Panicbiyi etc. etc
It's so funny it makes me wee my pants
I love Homeypants. Fact.
I love Homeypants. Fact.
Doesn't matter what your comparing it to, your still saying you would have milan spend 5mill on Ade.
We are debating whether getting whether 5mill for akinbiyi is a better deal than 1.6 for DJ.
Ade was for 2 years.
DJ has not had half a season and some are branding him a flop.
Wrong. I Think Ade gave us more for the money. thats not to say he was worth it, or that he was a good player for us, just that IMO DJ has been worse from what i have seen.
Ade was being booed after 5/6 games.
the argument turned into "lol"s earlier, that is time to draw a line under it in my eyes
That episode made me feel very uneasy
lol, me too. rofl
The only recent players I can think of that we were wrong to "let go" (ie: we could have kept them but opted not to) are Keith Gillespie and Mad Frank. If we had a chance of keeping them, then you can add Thatcher, Dickov and yes, Joey, to that list, but I can't think of any more....
Peter Taylor simply misjudged a player and wasted £5 million. Campbell is more puzzling. Martin Allen had managed Campbell before and knew him well. Why did he think that Campbell was so good that he believed we should get rid of Fryatt? It will be interesting to see Gary Megson's first big buy.
