Had this virus on Sat, can only hope he is fit, although Hughes could move in to the middle with Smith (if fit) moving on to the wing.

Hope not. Joey and Hughesy in the middle, Hammond and Smith on the wings.....Get in to 'em...

this is a massive blow for the club, the fans and expecically weso himself. first of all lets hope he makes a full recovery becuase im sure it has been no co-incidence that we have won three games since he has been in the team. hopefully the lad makes a full recovery but you have got to say that with him breaking his leg after only four games back, the situation does not look good im afraid. well the break wasn't in the same place as last one, good for the fact that it shows that is last break was no a weakness anymore, but bad for the fact that its the same leg again, also the fact that this time there was no crunching tackle on him suggests that his leg is not 100% fully strong. now this could be down to him being brought back early, having a generally weak leg (most likely due to balde's murderous tackle on him during a 'friendly' or the lad is just bloody unlucky. well i hope its just bad luck for the kid and am quite confident that he will be as good as he has been we he returns again, which there doen's seem any reason why he wont as he has been an integral part of the team over the last couple of weeks!! last point now, IMO i believe he will be ok wen he returns this time providing how long it takes to recover as he will have pre-season to regain his full fitness and gently build up to full match level instead of being thrown in at the deep end.

one more thing, its a bit of a selfish one tho is that with weso breaking his leg again there will be no better teams looking at him for the rest of the season and it would be unlikely that a team will come in for him before he fully establishes himself in the first team and therefore should stay with us providing we keep him happy because it was reported that he was unhappy after being offered a new contract recently with terms that were less that what was offered prior to him breaking his leg 1st time arround

GET WELL SOON WESO!!

****ing hell, poor Weso :(

Let's hope he's not going to suffer with injuries like this throughout his career and it's just an unhappy coincidence.

At least now he'll have the whole summer to get fit again so his leg can be mended properly.

I am hoping that he is up to playing Professional sport and is not another Lee Morris. :icon_sad: :icon_sad: :102:

Get well soon Weso. :023:

Gutted for the lad. He's only played a handful of games but he's going to be missed. Wish you a speedy recovery Weso!

As far as whether his leg was 100% going into the game - well if it wasn't, it never will be. This break had nothing at all to do with the last, and bones fractures mend stronger than they were before the break anyway. His a fully committed yet skillful player that we'll miss, and can only be replaced with Gareth Williams. The strength that we have shown in the last few games - hanging on to 1 goal advantages where before we would have let it slip - is down to a strong, creative midfield. Like for like, Williams would be the most natural one to come back in. To draft smith or elvis in and expect the balance of the team to stay the same is a bit shortsighted IMO. Keep the strength, grind out a dirty result against Derby, and we're just about home free.
